1) Plastic Bottle Planters
To make one, first, take a plastic bottle of the required size.
You can cut it in half to get two small pots or make a big hole in the center for a larger pot.
Make sure to make small holes beneath the pot to allow excess water to seep out of pots after watering, ensuring that water does not pool at the base of a pot, helping to protect sensitive roots from rot, fungus, and bacteria.
Then you can smoothen out sharp edges with sandpaper.
After that, decorate it with various prints and colors.
Several such pots can be connected with ropes of jute or a nylon thread and be hung over a wall.
We will soon publish another post in which we will show which kind of plants can be grown at home, near the window, or on the balcony. So stay tuned for that.
From herbs, grass, or any decorative flowers it all up to your
imagination!

This is one way of decorating your pot, but you can do more!
2) Shoe Planters - Recycling Footwear
Some of the most fascinating planters are ones, that recycle materials that were previously used for other purposes. These one-of-a-kind boots and shoe planters make excellent use of old shoes and boots. Some have seen better days, while others are brand new, yet all highlight indoor plants in novel and interesting ways.
So if you're having trouble decorating your yard, try this: turn any old boots or shoes into a wonderfully beautiful piece of décor by just adding some dirt and beautiful flowers and leaves.
Fill the shoes with a lightweight soilless potting mix once you've created drainage.
Similarly, where possible, insert a smaller container (with drainage) into the shoe or boot. Plant tiny plants, such as Sedum, in the shoes.
3) Garden of Tire Vegetables
Tires can be transformed into excellent vegetable planters that can survive the sun, rain, and colder weather. Taking the further step of elevating the tire planters onto a ledge or platform of some type will also, help decrease insect infestations. You can simply paint the tires to add color or leave them as-is for a unique look. The tires are deep enough and strong enough to safely contain a variety of veggies.
4) File Cabinet Planters
If you're like me, you adore clean, bold modern design but can't afford the high price tag.
Inspired by some amazing hardscape ideas, I decided on some large, bright contemporary pots for my porch.
I decided that transforming an old file cabinet would give desired aesthetic.
What You'll Need:
A metal filing cabinet
4 caster wheels, 1 locking (optional) sandpaper, and a sanding block
Metal bits and a drill
16 - 1" bolts, nuts, and washers
Rust-proof primer spray paint
2 cans spray paint in your preferred color
2 sheets of aluminum 12" x 24"
6-8 self-tapping screws
A piece of plywood

Step 1: Get a Filing Cabinet
This is the simple part. Filing cabinets are no longer necessary since everyone is becoming digital. They may be found at thrift stores, on the street, at government surplus sales, garage sales, and, of course, on Craigslist. Look for one with a sturdy bottom.
Many file cabinets lack a bottom, so look around until you find one that does. If necessary, you can make a bottom (which will be set aside for our reasons) according to my optional instructions.
Step 2:
Take out any drawers and any loose rail hardware. Remove the drawers and, if possible, the rail hardware. You may keep or remove the dividers, but I think they added to the modern style.
Step 3:
Add casters and drainage holes. Turn the cabinet upside down so that the back is now facing up. Drill ten to twenty holes in the file cabinet's bottom with a 3/8" bit. When you water your plants, this will offer drainage. You can stagger the holes so that they are evenly dispersed; they do not have to be in any specific location.
Step 4 (Optional):
Close the cabinet's end (bottom). You can actually move the drawers inside with a bottomless cabinet, piled horizontally and positioned end-to-end, before closing the end. This can come in handy later when you're organizing the dirt in the cabinet.
Once the drawers have been placed within the file cabinet, use a piece of plywood cut to size to shut the cabinet's end. I utilized an 18 × 24 inch piece for my project. Self-tapping screws are used to secure the panel. Screw two screws into the panel on each side.
Step 5: Prepare, prime, and paint your planter.
Sand the whole visible metal surface of your planter with a sanding block. You're just scuffing it up to get it ready for priming. Next, apply an equal layer of primer to the whole sanded surface– two cans are likely to be required.
Step 6: Fill with dirt and plants.
Fill the planter with potting soil until it is completely full.
(You may either prepare your own potting soil or purchase it.)
Plant your plants and give them plenty of water.
Then sit back and admire your lovely, trendy planter!
5) A Wooden Crate Planter
Making a planter out of a wooden crate is simple, attractive, and, of course, unique. Because of their large size, these planters can accommodate much more than a single plant. You may use them to turn your backyard into a salad garden or to grow fresh herbs and spices for cooking.Nature does the most of the work, so all you have to do is fill planters with some fertile soil, make sure the water can drain, and then as the plants develop, you can be proud of your work while also enjoying a new area of flora on your balcony or balcony.
